"Re" is a CFA registered, silver, neutered, Egyptian Mau, male. He was my daughter's pet and show cat. He has been retired from showing, my daughter has moved and was not able to take him with her.

Mau's are beautiful, regal cats that are naturally intelligent and sensitive. It can take some doing to win them over. However, once they trust you they become eternal affection pests and love with all their being. Re is quite the sweetheart, he's very affectionate and a wonderful companion. He catches and fetches mini beanie babies, sometimes obsessively (something he began as a youngster). Re will need time to transition into his new home, someone to lavish his affection on and understanding with his medical condition.

Re under went a necessary surgical procedure due to crystals in his urine that has improved the quality of life he will be able to live. He could require additional or special visits to the vet due to his condition.

He will require a special diet of Hill's Science Diet C/D food. He'll need a low stress environment to thrive, a no children and no other pets home would be ideal but not a must.
